About Us

Wrapyak is not your average design shop. We operate at the intersection of physical presence and digital identity. We specialize in high-impact commercial vehicle wraps that turn heads on the highway, alongside sleek, high-converting websites that capture customers online. We believe a brand’s message should be cohesive, whether it’s doing 65 mph down the interstate or being viewed on a smartphone screen.

We are looking for a versatile, energetic Graphic Designer who can effortlessly shift gears between designing for 3D surfaces and 2D interfaces.

The Role

We are seeking a creative problem-solver who loves the challenge of a diverse workload. In this role, you won’t just be pushing pixels; you will be conceptualizing complete brand experiences.

One day you might be calculating complex curves and panel breaks for a fleet of delivery vans, and the next you might be designing wireframes and high-fidelity UI for a client’s new e-commerce site. You must understand the technical constraints of large-format vinyl printing just as well as you understand responsive web design principles.

If you are a print specialist looking to expand into digital, or a web designer who wants to see their work produced on a massive physical scale, this is the perfect role for you.

Note: This is a fully-remote role. We operate on EST.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Wrap & Large Format Design (approx. 70% of role):

  • Conceptualize and design eye-catching full and partial vehicle wraps, decals, and fleet graphics for cars, trucks, vans, and unique surfaces like boats or trailers.

  • Work accurately within varied vehicle templates, accounting for door handles, curves, complex recesses, and body lines to ensure the design translates perfectly from screen to reality.

  • Prepare meticulous, print-ready production files, including precise bleeds, cut contours, and paneling for our in-house large-format printers.

  • Collaborate with the production and installation teams to troubleshoot design challenges before they hit the install bay.

Website & Digital Design (approx. 20% of role):

  • Design visually stunning, user-centric websites, landing pages, and digital interfaces.

  • Create sitemaps, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups (using Figma, XD, or Sketch) that emphasize usability (UX) and modern aesthetics (UI).

  • Ensure all web designs are fully responsive and maintain brand consistency across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

  • Create supporting digital assets, including web banners, social media graphics, and email newsletters.

General Branding & Project Management (approx. 10% of role):

  • Develop logos and brand identity systems for new businesses that need both a truck wrap and a website start-up package.

  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their vision, present concepts, and iterate based on feedback.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting strict deadlines for both print and web launches.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Time doesn’t matter. We look at your skills.

  • The Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a mix of print work (specifically large format or packaging) and digital/web design projects. Ideally, you can show examples where you executed branding across both mediums for the same client.

  • Print Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign). Must deeply understand vector vs. raster, CMYK color spaces, and print production setups.

  • Digital Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of modern UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch). Understanding of responsive grid systems and web accessibility standards.

  • Spatial Awareness: The ability to visualize how a 2D design will wrap around a complicated 3D object is crucial for the wrap portion of this job.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.

Bonus Points
  • Previous experience specifically in the vehicle wrap or sign industry.

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (you won’t need to code, but you need to know what is technically feasible for the developers).

  • Experience with WordPress or Webflow page builders.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary commensurate with the unique dual-skill requirement of this role.

  • 100% Paid – Health, Dental and Vision. Thank you, Obama.

  • Paid time off and holidays.

  • A creative, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

  • The satisfaction of seeing your work drive past you on the street.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a link to your portfolio. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. In a brief cover letter, please highlight talk about your favorite design project. How was it challenging? What did you learn? Why is it one of your most memorable projects? No fluff needed. I do, however, ask that you include your favorite car in the subject line of you email. That will let me know that you are not a foreign bot.

Materials may be submitted to info@wrapyak.com. And for real, for real, a human will review it and get back to you within 1-2 business days.
